More than 20 years ago God called me to help relieve people’s suffering and to assist people on their life’s journey toward fulfillment and growth. I followed His call by returning to college after serving 10 years in the military to complete my Masters degree in counseling psychology and later earning a Doctorate from Cornerstone University. I put my education and training to use by working as a counselor in community mental health agencies.

These agencies provided me with experience serving a wide diversity of patients and needs: from children to adults and from addiction treatment to marriage and family counseling to personal development. I could not have met the demands of this service without the education, knowledge, mentorship, and skills provided to me by NCCA.

And now I have an additional calling: to help and prepare others who are called to the counseling ministry as I was called more than 20 years ago. That’s why I founded the New Purpose Center.

Leveraging our staff’s many years of personal and career development experience and our partnership with NCCA, the Center offers our students an affordable, top-notch education that fits their busy schedules and can be tailored and scaled to their own unique goals. We also provide counseling and personal development to individuals and groups.

My decision to follow God’s calling for my life has left me with a genuine desire to help people and with an outlook filled with hope that allows to me approach each new day with enthusiasm. I love working with people who are looking for fulfillment in their lives, whether for enhancement or to implement a complete lifestyle change.
